Overview of reducer:
Reducing pipe, also known as reducer, is one of the chemical pipe fittings used for connecting two different pipe diameters. It is further divided into concentric and eccentric heads.
Application:
1. When there is a change in the flow rate of the fluid in the pipeline, such as an increase or decrease, and the flow velocity requirement does not change significantly, a reducer should be used
2. To prevent cavitation at the inlet of the pump, a reducing pipe is required
3. In order to match with the joints of instruments such as flow meters and regulating valves, reducing pipes are also required. Specification size: DN15-1200 (NPS: 1/2-36 inches)
